The featured category for May are Adobe applications, including the Acrobat family, Photoshop (and the rest of the Creative Suite). Even Flash might be considered.

I'm a little behind, so we will be getting both the March and April winners picked and announced shortly. My apologies for the delay, it's entirely my fault.
I'm still looking for hints about iTunes for this month's contest.
Also, I've received a few submissions of hints for the 10.7 Lion Developer Previews. The policy here has always been not to publish hints on pre-release Apple software, and I think that is still a wise policy.
I'll hold them in the queue and revisit them when Lion is released this summer, and see if they still work or are needed with the final version.
OK, I'll admit it: I don't have Rob's talent and passion for producing great April Fool's Day prank hints, so I won't make a fool out of myself by trying to match him at it. I apologize for breaking tradition; maybe if I start now I'll have some for next year.
In the meantime, here is a list of some of the past prank hints, including this gem from last year.
I'll instead exercise a bit of historical geekery by point to this collection of speculations on the origins of this most special of celebrations, which appears to have been mentioned by Chaucer in 1392.
The featured category for April is iTunes. Included can be hints for iTunes the software, the iTunes Store, and also things like Home Sharing and streaming for iOS devices. I'll certainly consider hints for iTunes for Windows as well, if people have them.

We'll be judging the March submissions during the coming week and will notify the winning hint authors as soon as we vote.
Here are the winners (and their hints) for the MacOSXHints contest in February. Sorry about the delay in announcing; we had a couple of logistical issues to work out.
Congratulations, and thanks to all of you for your contributions.
Just a reminder, the featured topic for the March contest is web browsers, and there are still a few more days to tell us about them, including Firefox 4. Send in your discoveries and ideas!
Just a reminder -- the featured hint category for March is web browsers. Please submit new ideas and uses for Safari, Firefox, Chrome, OmniWeb, iCab, Opera or whatever other browsers you have tricks for. I hope there will be many of them.

I'm still looking for hints about iLife '11 for this month's contest. iDVD and iWeb are both parts of that package as far as I'm concerned, even if they didn't get major updates. Also I will consider iMovie for iOS hints as well.
One other note: next Monday, Feb. 21st, is a U.S. Holiday, so I won't be publishing that day.
The fourth winner is Office 2011 Search change. This hint was submitted anonymously, but the author specifically requested that their prize be donated to the ACLU if they won, so we are honoring that request.
Congratulations, and thanks to all of you for your contributions.
Just a reminder, the featured topic for the February contest is iLife 11. I haven't seen many of those so it's a wide open area. Send in your discoveries and ideas!
The original posting was a bit long and was interfering with some folks' ability to easily get to the hints, so here is a shorter version. Please refer to the original for further details.
Just a reminder, the featured category for January is MS Office for Mac.
