Don't try cheating...Apple checks your qualifications

I wouldn't try this lie if you don't qualify. Apple has a policy of checking a percentage of the orders by making you fax or mail in a copy of the applicable documentation proving you qualify. I don't know what the percentage is but I've been challenged on one of three orders. Since Apple has your true name, address, phone number, e-mail address, etc., it wouldn't be to your advantage to get blackballed by Apple. They could, and likely would, deny any and all warranty claims on all your Apple equipment if you get caught. Just not worth it if you don't qualify. Cheating never pays!!

Yes cheating does not pay, but, how would they know I bought 10.2 from a uni if I paid cash for it?

Just curious,

Robert
