Mozilla is bigger and better!

Well, i don\'t use Chimera (only tried it once, though i was impressed), i mainly use Mozilla 1.0
In Mozilla there\'s a better way to define the search engine. I think i already saw this tip here at MacOSXHints, but it never hurts.

If you want to define Google as your default search engine in Mozilla, just enter this in the 'user.js' preferences file:

user_pref("keyword.URL","http://www.google.com/search?q=");

From then on, all you have to do is to type your keywords directly in the navigation toolbar, whatever page you are on. Once you type your keywords and press the \'Enter\' key, Google opens directly in the same window (or tab) with a list of matching pages!

Now here is another reason to use Mozilla!

PS.Don\'t know if this works for Chimera, could be if Chimera has some kind of user preferences file. Just verify in the Chimera folder.

OR, if you prefer the GUI way, you could open up your preferences and select google in Navigator>Search Preferences! :)

Where did you get the version of Navigator that has that option in the Prefs pannel?
Please, I'd love to know...
