Poll: How Often Do You Turn Off the Power to Your Internet Connection?

I try to keep everything off as much as possible EXCEPT my Mac.
I have adopted a policy for >2 days idle = deep sleep, shut down weekly, shut down holiday, sleep the rest of the time.
Shutting down still shortens the life of computers and consider this: does any energy saved by shutting down compensate for the energy used in the production of your prematurely-replaced computer?
Also note that startup is the most power-hungry time for your computer, apart from very resource-intensive tasks. Sleeping for 12 hours is (for a Mac Mini - less than 3W!) much more energy-efficient than shutting down and starting up 12 hours later.

The sort of thing that REALLY annoys me is when people put our CRT TV on standby. It takes as long to power up from standby as from power off, the only advantage being that you don't have to walk three feet to push the button.
