Well, the idea here, I think, is to be able to print selected pages AFTER going to the print dialog from any Application and choosing Preview. This opens Preview, and there's your web page or whatever, with "Print" and Cancel" buttons at the bottom. Previously, the only way we knew to print selective pages from Print Preview was to cancel and then print again, choosing "from ___ to____", which only printed successive pages.

I tried the method in this hint, and it worked, but most of the time I need to select just one page from a Google Maps printout. So this hint didn't work for my purposes. But then I got the idea to select all the pages I DON'T want to print, and hit delete. Viola! I click print and get my single page.
