10.4: Rotate a single PDF page in Preview

I guess they changed it in 10.5, probably for the worse:

When you select 'Rotate Right' from the menu or press Command+R, a notification pops up asking you if you want to rotate the selected page or all pages.
The problem I have with this is that 'rotate all pages' is the default selection upon pressing enter. This makes little sense, because only once are you going to want to rotate every page in a document. It would be much more convenient if "current page" was the default selection, because with documents with inconsistent orientation, I find myself repeatedly pressing "command+r", then having to use the mouse to pick from the notification.

I don't know that it's the wrong default. I can see the utility of both options, and I think the Leopard way is certainly better than a hidden option.

What I would like is more than just 90° rotations - why does Preview not offer the 'straighten' option in the adjust pane, à la iPhoto?
