Determine if iTunes will stop or pause a track
Authored by: asmeurer on Jan 22, '08 05:13:06PM

I use Party Shuffle to listen to all my tracks and I never open playlists in new windows. Apparently, in the case of multiple windows it can make a difference which window is in the front (or I should say frontmost: when you use programs like Quicksilver trigers to stop/pause iTunes when it isn't active frontmost is what matters).

BTW, anyone have any idea how long this behavior or different symbols has existed in iTunes?

I've been using iTunes since version 3 and I've played with version 2 a little, and I believe that behavior (including the button icon change) was always present.
