10.5: An important caveat about X11 and upgrade installs
Authored by: yanucci on Jan 08, '08 11:01:46AM

I am a basic user of Mac and I have a Mac Mini with Tiger OS X but when I tried to load a copy of Leopard, it said to restart. I wanted to go back to my old settings so I could let the wife use the computer and I chose to restart in my old settings. When I did that the white screen with the Apple stays on and never continues, I had to hold the shift button to get the DVD to eject after multiple tries on re-booting. Now, that white screen just stays on and the spinner below the Apple keeps on spinning. I can't try to boot up in Safe Mode because my bluetooth keyboard isn't ready during the initial startup (I think??) ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE???? Oh, and I am overseas in Okinawa Japan, so there's no Apple Store to drop it off at.
