Select individual columns from tables in Firefox

Maybe I'm missing something, but "this" kind of copy does not produce a "useful" paste since the rows are all pasted on the same line.

I have been using Table2Clipboard for some time now and it works like you would expect it to.

I did not know about this command-drag trick to get only one column, but I made several tests and it, too, works fine.

The down side to copying tables is that each cell appears on a separate line when I paste the copied table into a word processor or text editor. However, usually, the tabs (for "next column") are there, so, with a bit of selective deletion of returns, I can reconstruct the table easily enough (tedious, though).

Thanks for the info on Table2Clipboard. That certainly does make it simple to copy and paste tables. Now, if someone would offer the same for Safari.
