I voted for "all of the above" because I'm greedy like that, but I'm really hoping for is a 2nd gen iPhone with GPS and an ultra-portable lappy/tablet with a touch screen. I know we probably won't see any of that, but if we're wishing...

An iPhone would become attractive to me if it had a "You Are Here" button. Press it, and a map comes up, showing me where I am standing, and letting me bookmark locations, add waypoints, get directions, etc. from there. I suppose that assumes GPS-enabled iPhones. That'd be cool enough for me to shell out the money they want for it.

Of course, I wouldn't buy the iPhone without being able to choose my cell provider, so until they are sold unlocked, I just don't want one.

Other wishes: a tablet iMac that can be used with any WACOM pen, as well as multi-touch with fingers, but that also has a mechanical keyboard of some kind. I don't mind using an external keyboard for it most of the time, but it would suck to be using an onscreen keyboard when I'm away from my desk, which would be often. A keyboard resembling the ones in Apple's laptops would be fine.

I'm not too excited about multitouch tech because I have suffered from RSI disorders for over 10 years, and even an hour of using my MBP's touchpad is too much -- it hurts. I carry a USB optical mouse for that reason. I don't expect I'd actually *want* to touch a screen all day. Bad for my hands and wrists.
