10.5: Avoid a non-clickable Desktop icon bug
Authored by: themaxx on Dec 27, '07 09:03:55AM

I've experienced this bug a few times already on my iMac. But changing the mouse settings were not involved in my case. I managed a few times to get the clicking back by some random, crazy clicking spree. But a log off was what got me out of it most of the times.

Combined with that bug, I've also had a strange situation were all windows' toolbars were editable by dragging (like when you are customizing them) buttons around and off.

Rather annoying...

The first bug you described sounds like the Finder crash, if you do a force relaunch of Finder the problem will go away.

I haven't had this happen since the last update though.
