I have to say: don't try it.
Sorry. Earlier models had room for expansion, but we're talking about moving from 2 to 6 MB of VRAM. Otherwise, the VRAM of the iMac is hard-wired on the Logic-Board, and there's probably /no/ way to get the Logic-Board to address added VRAM, even if you were willing to destroy your iMac by trying.
