In Tiger you could just have used http instead of https. that worked just fine for me. the added security of my data is a welcome addition though

@lastfuture, I tried that and it didn't work for me. I should qualify that I am using a hosted domain setup, so perhaps that worked for 'standard' Google accounts. BTW, are you "lastfuture" as on the PMN?
