10.5: Two ways to run a Time Machine backup right now

Not sure if this pertains to here or not_

In the later Betas - there was a way to Control the "incremental backup" function - hour - day - week - month - or some variation of this_

In the Final iteration - Apple seems to have taken that ability away_ In the Prefs Pane for TM - there is text indicating that there will be hourly [for 24 hours] - daily [for a month] and weekly backups [for enternity]_

Does anyone know if there is a way to control this - Terminal Commands or something - alter how and when it backs up??
