10.5: Two ways to run a Time Machine back up right now

This only seems to apply to within the Finder itself. If you have mounted volumes displayed on your desktop, then right clicking on the Time Machine backup disk does not give you a 'Back Up Now' option.

Thanks for that observation...couldn't figure out why it wasn't working for me (when right-clicking on the TM icon on the desktop).

If you are Mac'ing around with only one hand, click and hold on the Time Machine icon in the Dock and the popup window will quickly appear with the Back Up Now ooption.
