10.5: Manage users and groups using a GUI tool
A bit of a problem though - as soon as we got our Leopard Server maintenance upgrade, I installed the admin tools on my Leopard MacBook, thinking the tools must match the client (it was that way with Panther Server and a Tiger client). But the Leopard admin tools will not administer a Tiger Server! We are not upgrading our Tiger server to Leopard, yet.

Extracting it with Pacifist should work just fine (it did for me). Workgroup Manager doesn't require anything but the app itself.

I just copied 10.4 Server Admin and Workgroup Manager Tools from a 10.4 installation in to a folder under /Applications/Server/10.4/ on a Leopard system and use them to manage Tiger servers... maybe a hint in itself? |
