10.5: Install Leopard on an older Mac
Authored by: jimusair1 on Nov 08, '07 01:36:30PM

I installed Leopard with a clean erase and install on my G4 emac and my G4 powerbook. Both did meet the requirements, but Leopard just runs way faster than Tiger. And like you said, I can get another 3-4 years good use out of both. Why it is faster I don't know, as I understand Leopard was really designed for the Intel Macs which performs beautifully on my Mackbook too.
