10.5: Use stereo Bluetooth devices in 10.5

I have the same problems with sound dropping out. It seems to happen more frequently when I type or mouse, but will still happen if I don't touch anything at all. I have a 2nd generation MacBook using a Dell (logitech) keyboard, a Logitech mouse, and a pair of Logitech Freepulse headphones. The transmission to the headphones is both stronger and more reliable with the included dongle. I also have the same problems with a pair of iCombi headphones.

Does Bluetooth force all devices to scale down to the slowest speed supported? Anyone know of a way to determine what protocol version a device is using? Either way, even BT 1.2 should be able to handle the bandwidth, as it's rated for a max of 700 kilobits / second.
