10.5: Spaces activation made simpler

Not that this is a wish list type of post but here's what I'd rather see:

A) The ability to assign a larger range of keys to be able to activate Spaces. F8 is used for the keyboard backlight by default. How about the ability to assign the tilde key instead.

B) The ability to allow you to just move your mouse to the edge of the screen to go to the space that's along that edge. In tiger there were 3rd party apps that did just that.

If you are dragging a window and bring it to the edge of the screen, this will happen after a short delay.

I found this while looking for something else, but I wanted you to know that this can be done easily if not obviously.

Go to the "Keyboard & Mouse" preference pane and then the "Keyboard Shortcuts" tab. Under "Dock, Expose, and Dashboard" you'll find the current setting for spaces. You can change it here to anything you like. It'll look funny when you go back to the "Spaces" preference pane, but it works.
