Why "never" ? The answer is...

...for several reasons:
- The set of features is widely underwhelming. Many of them have been covered by 3rd party developers anyway.
- tech specs: of my 5 Macs, I could upgrade just 2.
- pricing: I bought a family pack for the last version for 99 Euros in the Edu store. Leopard is 199 Euros, i. e . twice the price. If we then take into account that the Euro vs. $ is above 1,42 at the moment, I would effectively pay close to 290 $.

Underwhelming set of features, requiring a hardware upgrade, and this for a substantial amount of money ? Sounds like the strategy of a different company we all know...

PS: I downloaded Ubuntu just yesterday.
