In general, image adobe disks then install from images!

As a corollary to this hint I strongly recommend imaging adobe installer discs in general, then installing from the images - even for the first install of the software it only takes a little longer to create the disk images and then you don't have to worry about inserting the next disk. Simply mount all the images and run the Disc 1 installer. (Although I haven't done this since CS3 came out - I thought CS3 was going to ship on DVD?) It's a lot more convenient to have all your disk images from CS2 on one DVD; and apparently as long as Adobe fails to provide smooth, seamless, IT-support-free (de/re)installation procedures, it'll save you time. Double so if you have a firewire disk or other fast media.
