Depends on where ya sit...

...I see it as a feature.

I run Mozilla most of the time when I work, but when I mindlessly surf, I tend to revert to IE.

Why? SlashDock.

SlashDock pops up with a new item, so I click and go - and on an iBook, I hate opening multiple windows for browsing through SlashDock - in IE, it always loads in the fromtmost window. In Mozilla, there's another window, and another, and another - I wish external URLs loaded in a background tab, but no luck.

This is a nice feature for laptop owners, and we've all been aware of it from day-one, and it's by design, I really do believe. If Mozilla did it though, I'd DELETE exploder from my drive in an instant...

I use MacReporter for my news headlines. When I was trying out Mozilla, Mozilla would constantly set itself as the default browser. After opening Mozilla, any time I would click on a MacReporter headline, it would open in Mozilla.

Never had that problem - then again a trip to the control panels would fix that problem. I prefer Moz but IE, once set as default, seems to stay that way...

bah!
