A workaround for a Firewire Target Disk Mode issue
Authored by: Zaphod42 on Aug 16, '07 10:30:00AM
be careful when plugging in other devices when using TDM. I guess daisy chaining works but if you have other devices plugged in (either FW or USB) to a computer that has a mac connected to it in TDM then anything copied off the TDM mac can get corrupted. I found that out the hard way.
"Important: Unplug all other FireWire devices from both computers prior to using FireWire target disk mode. Do not plug in any FireWire devices until after you have disconnected the two computers from each other, or have stopped using target disk mode."

it doesn't mention corruption or USB, but thats what happens.
