Star Wars Empire at War LAN game fix

An easier solution could be to go into System Preferences -> Network, then duplicate you existing Location. Rename the duplicate to something else, for example, SW LAN, then from the show pop-up select Network Port Configurations, and simply uncheck the two Parallels items, which, on my system at least, are named:

Parallels Host-Guest
Parallels NAT

When you want to play SW then simply switch to this new location and click Apply. All your other network settings should be the same as before as we duplicated the active location. When you have finished playing, switch back to your normal location.

I don't have SW so can't confirm if this will work, but looking at the output from ipconfig, when the "down" command is issued to the specific interface it's status changes from "active" to "inactive", and the same information is reported if you simply uncheck the item in Network Port Configuration.
