Add custom search engines to Camino

There is no need to use any external applications. Just use Bookmarks. Bookmark the page from which you want to run the search. Once you get the proper search format to enter, just edit the bookmark to contain that filed. There is a place to enter you "Shortcut" when you edit Bookmarks (URL = about:bookmarks ).

That's a different issue, I think.

I think the hint is talking about using the Search Box on to right of the address bar, and I think this reply is talking about keyword bookmarked searches to be typed in the address bar. While I prefer the keyword search from the address bar (and found that Camino imported my Firefox bookmarks, including keyword shortcut searches, with no problem), I can definitely see a use for more searches in the search box. In Firefox, the keyword search works great from the address bar, but there are lots of sites I search frequently enough to merit a search box, but not frequently enough for me to remember the associated keyword for a keyword search, so being able to add this functionality to Camino is a good hint.
