Managing iPhoto is the challenge
Authored by: gabester on Jul 16, '07 07:57:42AM

I don't have any comment for improvement, but I also know I can't be alone in trying to "manage" iPhoto's operation across the years and have ended up with just a total mess - 6 gigabytes of functional photo library and almost 60 gigabytes of photos, duplicates, missing images in one set or another, and a feeling of being fundamentally incomplete. Every time there's a new version I've made a backup of my library as it exists at the time... and whenever I've detected a problem I've reverted to a previous version of the library. As a result, I have multiple libraries, some of which cover the same period of time but contain almost entirely different photos; others contain the same photos but somehow imported with totally different names or dates.
