Restore TransparentDock after Safari beta 3 uninstall
You could always use Unsanity's ClearDock https://www.unsanity.com/haxies/cleardock. Yeah, I know it's an APE but I don't have any problems using it on my C2D MBP (CCFL Backlight).

Nor do I. ClearDock 1.4.1 restored both the clear background and the colored running applications triangles (I prefer yellow as more visible against a blue desktop) with a simple log out/in. I think that sometimes Haxies get a bad rap. I've never had any trouble with them that wasn't easily fixed by excluding the application that was "bothered".

Purists don't like the way haxies work (code injection) so they badmouth it. But you're right. I've used haxies for years and have never had any issues with them hosing, crashing or otherwise bringing to pass all the dire consequences predicted by the haxie prophets of doom. |
