That's even too much work! Command-Shift-T!

It always cracks me up when all these (new) Mac users want to do everything in the terminal, or by writing a script, when they are already standard GUI options.

The best one is when people use the terminal to select certain files in a folder for deletion. All that typing! Just open the folder, Command click to select the files and press Command-Delete! There's no way anyone will convince me they can type faster than someone can select files by looking at them. And I try to use the mouse as little as possible, and I'm a fast typist.

I think it's the "look at me, I'm a power user" syndrome!

I'd like to see you Command-click the 1,000 GIFs that start with an vowel and end with an even number in a folder of 10,000 files faster than I delete them in the command line. I'm probably even quicker than you downloading and installing A Better Finder Select to help you with that task. Scripting may look complicated and take time but it's better scalable than manual operation.
