Epson Stylus Photo R2400 and glossy paper options bug

I have found that it's easier to create two 'versions' of the printer with the Printer Setup Utility: one for glossy inks, and one for matte inks. Then, when I switch the cartridge, I make sure I switch the printer in Print Center.

A bit more work, yes, but less than trying to remember every time I go back to make a print. (Swapping inks wastes so much ink that you really have to need to make the change, unfortunately.)

I'll note that this approach doesn't always work - I have still had to reset everything at least once, which is a real drag.
