10.4: Show full file paths in Save As... dialogs
Authored by: Juneappal on Apr 15, '07 09:04:32AM
First, it only works if you're searching for the name of a folder. If you want to find a file, whether to save your file with the same name, or just to save in the same place, tough.

Has anyone come up with a way to address this? Say I know I want to save a doc in the same folder as one called "target," but I don't know where "target" is saved. What does a poor soul do?

Switch to the Finder. Find your file. Drag it to your Save Dialog.
