Toast 7 & Disk Utlity
Authored by: avramd on Apr 11, '07 09:24:55AM

I originally used Toast 7 to make an image of the CD (using Copy mode), and it ended up with the CDDB track names.

I tried to make an image of it usin Disk Utility, and File->New->Disk Image from device was greyed out. I didn't bother troubleshooting this b/c that's when I figured out how to disable the track names.

As a side note, it's against policy to submit comments saying "this hint is useless," and, such comments are, ironically, useless.

No, you didn't... not on the disk anyway. Take it to another computer and see! Unless the same CD was once inserted in that computer, and it was allowed to get the track names, you wont get any. They are on your computer, not the disk.

So if people can't comment on the usefulness of a hint, how about the factuality of a hint? This hint has factual errors, and as such doesn't work as advertised. ;)
