Firefox, by a nose
Authored by: Lectrick on Mar 30, '07 02:40:08PM

It used to be Safari. But then I discovered all these wonderful Firefox extensions such as the del.icio.us plugin (wicked!), Greasemonkey, Adblock, Firebug, and the web developer toolbar. In cases where I searched for equivalent hacks to Safari, they were either nonexistent or not as complete.

I may be biased, though, because I am a web developer.

This is in spite of the fact of the lack of native widgets (cocoa menu/controls code, and text entry behavior) which is infuriating sometimes.

Firefox, by a nose

Likewise, a vote for Firefox - but one of the Intel-Optimized versions. You can find it here - http://www.beatnikpad.com/firefox

But what I really miss from Safari is Download Comments - putting the URL for downloaded files into the Spotlight comments field.

Anyone got an extension that will do that for Firefox?
