10.4: Use a Bluetooth personal area network (PAN)
I jumped at this since I use GPRS over Bluetooth all the time with my Sony Ericsson K800i (I have an all-you-can-eat plan and sometimes go for entire days off it), but unfortunately, it connects, works (yes even downloads web pages if you're quick enough) but after about 10 seconds I get: Bluetooth network failed. No more info in /var/log or anywhere else so there's not much I can do to troubleshoot it, and it's not a bluetooth-level problem since it works fine through dialup / Internet connect. Shame there's no more detail about the problem... at times like these it's like I'm still using Windows "sorry, it doesn't work, an that's more or less it"

I also get a connection that drops pretty quickly with the 'Unexpected disconnection' message. Anyone managed to fix this? I have a SE K610i which keeps a DUN connection running perfectly. |
