Add contacts with names to Mail's recipient list

To my surprise the "Add to Address Book" feature has a lot to be desired. If you already have a contact named "John Doe" without his email address but with phone numbers, you'll see that in the previous recipients list he will not have the address book icon to the left of its email address. When you click the "Add to Address Book" button, it will create a whole new contact named "John Doe" with this email address instead of just adding the email address to the already existing "John Doe" contact. You now have 2 John Does in your address book. Of course you can use the "Look for duplicate entries..." feature of Address Book but I think that it could have been smarter about this to begin with.

Don't overlook the 'Merge Selected Cards' under the Card menu of Address Book
