Grapher is Curvus Pro abandoned

Grapher is the corpse of a once beautiful program known as Curvus Pro. Apple purchased this program from Arizona Software (ironically a Swiss company). I believe Apple wanted a new replacement for the Graphing Calculator, which has its own interesting story (http://www.pacifict.com/Story/). All of us who had registered and used Curvus Pro were looking forward to fresh support and expanded functionality, but instead we were rewarded with a broken widget. Sure it still can do a few plots, but it is much more buggy, and the programmers who adopted it don't seem to understand basic things like spherical polar coordinates. I don't think Apple has updated it once since its first introduction (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grapher).

1) I agree about Grapher bugs ;
2) The main one does not exist any more if you open new windows with Menu Examples > 2 OR 3 D, then clean up equations on it, use all Menu Format can do and enter yours own formulas ; but NEVER, NEVER use the window open when starting Grapher nor Menu File > New etc. Working that way you may use all coordinates system (x, y) (r, phi) (x, y, z) (r0, phi, z) (r, phi, theta) for curves, surfaces, fiefds, set of points, everything. It's as good as Curvus Pro X 1.3.2 was ;
3) Bug in Save as... which don't save graph size, places of inserted objects, ranges on the axes, if you can avoid it please tell me.
Please tell me if you notice these bugs and if idea in 2) is useful.
Have a good time with Grapher, YB24
