How to make certain video files appear in Front Row

I think most of you may find this (creating a single folder alias) is a better way:

Front Row only looks in specified places on your hard drive for your movie files (ie 'Movies' in your home folder). The tip above creates a 'reference' file ('shortcut', 'bookmark', 'alias', 'link'; they're all the same thing) in the Movies folder.

Now rather than creating a link to individual movies, use Finder to highlight your preferred movies folder and create an Alias (Apple-L) to it. Now move this new folder-look-alike into the Movies folder. That allows FrontRow to display the linked folder in its list of movies. One link, all your movies!

And you can make as many links as you like.
