One possible fix for iPods with hard drive issues
Authored by: osxfan57 on Jan 28, '07 09:55:23AM

Dang, this didn't work for me. I dropped my 3G a while back and have had the pod sitting in my closet. So I opened it up and followed the directions here. Still gives me the broken folder with the exclamation. I can go into disk diagnostic mode no problem. Anyone know if there's anything in there that might help?
As an aside, I prefer the touch buttons of the old 3G's much more over the click-wheels. In fact, I hate the click-wheel. I always end up going past the menu item I want and have to scroll back and forth.
