Zoom - A very nice interactive fiction game interpreter

Hmm, I think Spatterlight goes a lot further into trying to make the basic experience of reading lots of text a pleasant one. Plus it handles pretty much any kind of IF datafile you can find; Zoom looks to only do Z-code. Not that I seem to have the focus to sit down and suffer a zork* any more. sigh

Thanks for remembering me of Spatterlight, which I had previously found when trying to play IF in Mac OS X…

But now Zoom 1.1.2 has very many interesting characteristics, including an integrated IF Database Browser with direct title download!

It seems I could make both Zoom and Spatterlight game libraries compatible, but I'll have to work it out.
