What do you do in the case that the app is a single program file, like most of the Office:X suite?

Well, Office X won't run under "real" OS 9.2 anyway, so it doesn't matter.

For OTHER Carbon applications, though, that's a good question.

The equivalent of Info.plist for a non-bundled app is the 'plst' id 0
resource; you can use ResEdit or Resorcerer to edit it.

In some apps, such as Palm Desktop 4.0 Installer, once you do the "View PAckage Contents" and go under the "Contents" folder, there is a folder called "MacOSClassic"

Doing a "Get Info" in the application in that folder sometimes brings up the "Open in classic environment" checkbox
