FWIW (and to me it's worth it's weight in gold) iClock has a "Running Applications" menu item that can be optionally displayed that displays all kinds of useful stuff *including* an indication of which apps are running in Rosetta via an unmistakable -(in Rosetta)- indication following the appropriate items in its list.
