Hmmm, that means it took me a whole month to find you back then!

I have not had the need to visit the site too much lately (which says something good about Mac OS X I guess), and have not had the time to contribute lately either, which says I have too many hobbies!

In any case, congratulations, and thanks for starting the site!

Having been on the short end of two corporate takeovers, after the last one in April, I decided to start my own graphics design company. I'm doing pretty well and I must say following you all these years and seeing you make the transition full time to something you love gave me the inspiration (i.e. cojones) to do the same.

This site is a prime example of doing just that and reflects the passion and dedication you have.

Best of luck,

And that's 7 years, so I guess we're a victim of a Y2K bug or something... :)

Maybe we're charter members or something!

Congratulations Rob and thanks for putting this site together. It's been a great boon to the Mac community!

I won... I won!! or did I? If so what did win:

1. Six years of great beanie head support.

2. Close touch with a community a little above the norm.

3. Something I can't live without a daily fix of.

Great job over the years. You set a pretty high standard which means you'er going to have to really work hard the next six to keep up.

Back in "the day," Geeklog didn't even record registration dates. On February 16th, 2003, we upgraded to a newer version that started tracking reg dates by user.

If you have the 1999 date, unfortunately all that means is that you registered sometime before February 16th, 2003. For a *real* indication of how early you signed up, check your user ID -- it's visible in the URL at the top of your "Show my History" page (among other places). Just look at the "&uid=" portion of the URL. The lower the uid number, the earlier you signed up.
