Use multiple tuners with EyeTV
Authored by: ppp on Oct 30, '06 09:09:36PM

I have a Miglia mini HD and a Hauppage HVR-950 (the same device as the EyeTV Hybrid, I think). I can occasionally get them to work simultaneously as described, but switching between devices has not proved to work consistently. Analog Cable connected to HVR-950, terrestrial antenna connected to Miglia mini HD. Switching from an Analog Cable channel to a Digital Antenna channel seems to be the problem. The other direction works. Either it says no signal, or the Channel list doesn't fill up. Unplugging a device and plugging it back in seems to correct the problem. So does quitting and restarting EyeTV. I have EyeTV 2.3.2, and the miglia signal quality is 100%, strength is between 60% and 88%. Mac mini Core Duo 1.66GHz, 1GB RAM, 10.4.8. I inquired with El Gato last week and haven't heard back yet.
