Another solution for MS Word multi-section PDFs

Word doesn't do this anymore on my Mac.

There's only three things that have changed since I last had the splitting problem:

1) I have an Intel Mac now

2) I installed the latest patch for Office recently.

3) I have upgraded Tiger to 10.4.8

I am running Office v.X and the Office update was 10.1.8, and Word says it's SR1

And yes, I've tested, and PDF printing of sectioned documents now creates a single document.

But I don't know which of the above three fixed it.

Are you sure it works when the sections have different page orientations? That is what seems to trigger it for me, most of my sections are portrait and one section is landscape.

I stand corrected. You're right. But I'm sure all documents with section breaks used to do it. Yes?

I *think* so too but I'm not sure. I'm also not sure if it changed between Office v.x and 2004
