Open links in tabs in Firefox via scroll wheel clicks
Authored by: jaysoffian on Oct 23, '06 08:52:12PM

As long as we're posting our favorite mouse tips, I have my Mighty Mouse setup (via SteerMouse) thusly (for my browsers):

middle (scrollwheel click) - open link in new tab
squeeze (side buttons) - close tab/window
scroll-left - go back in history
scroll-right - go forward in history

I previously used an Intellimouse, but wanting to switch to a BT mouse and not finding anything better than the MM, I figured I'd give it a try. Thought I'd miss the fourth/fifth buttons but using the scroll wheel left/right works out well.

j.
