i sync my phone with address book, but almost half the entries in my address book are email or IM addresses, w/o phone numbers, and i don't want them cluttering up my phone contacts.

so i created a smart group containing "phone is set" entries. oops, you can't sync to a smart group. (duh.)

so i made a ... um ... dumb group for syncing and every now and then, i drag the smart group entries into the dumb group.

In iSync, when you select your phone to set the synchronization options, if you click More Options... you can choose to "Only synchronize contacts with phone numbers". Is this what you want?

Interesting, because I do the same thing (create a "Smart Group" then copy to a "Dumb Group"), so I was happy to see there was another way...

Except, that on my version of iSync (2.3 (500.86)), this is option doesn't seem to show up anywhere.

I've clicked on my phone (Nokia 6620) then "More Options" and the only options are "Don't synchronize events prior to:" and "Don't synchronize events after:" And, under the iSync preferences, there's nothing there about Contacts.

Am I missing something, or are there different iSync versions out there that we're talking about?
