Open links in tabs in Firefox via scroll wheel clicks
Authored by: taxi on Oct 20, '06 05:42:37PM

The scroll button has the same functionality as the Middle button, on old three-button mice.

It's fairly well known that FF uses button 3 as the shortcut for open in new tab.

The other thing I have to make FF better it TabX, as it puts the close button for each tab on the tab itself. Saves accidentally closing two windows by clicking it twice.

The bit about closing tabs by middle-clicking on them was new for me, though.
