A glitch when trying The Apple-approved method of removing Classic
Authored by: riktexan on Oct 10, '06 06:02:05PM

I have tried this method to remove Classic and have a problem right off.
After I enter the first command to remove the Classic icon is System Prefs I get this response.
tcsh: $: Command not found.
What does this mean and what do I do about it?
Thanks

You're not supposed to type the "$". That is a symbol that represents the UNIX prompt (whatever it might actually look like on your system).
