Repair permissions on multiple drives in one step

I *suspect* that when you repair permissions on any drive other than the boot drive, the diskutil command will not use the /Library/Receipt folder on that other drive for the repair. It might not always be a good idea.

The Repair Disk Permissions function uses the /Library/Receipts directory on the volume being repaired. For more on repairing permissions, see our What You Need To Know article.

As for the hint above, keep in mind that when SuperDuper clones a drive, all permissions are cloned, as well. This means that if you're really concerned about permissions, you can just enable the "Before copy: Repair permissions" option in SuperDuper -- this will repair permissions on the source volume before cloning it, and ensure that both the source and the target volumes have the "correct" permissions after the copy.
