possible way around the setup?

has anyone tried to delete the file that this process creates? will it rerun the setup assistant next time around at startup? I work on mac's and am looking for a way to test hardware in osx, but there's no way around the setup assistant..

I know people that need to go through the setup assistant because of information they have entered in error.
If all you want is to run the Setup assistant again boot to single user mode(command+"S")
cd /var/db
rm -r .AppleSetupDone
cd netinfo
mv -f local.nidb local.nidb.old
reboot
This will run the setup assistant but not overwrite the existing User's Home Dir. files nor delete the User.
