Force iTunes 7 to import duplicate music files

Yes, the "+" disappears but the song is added to the library.

But there's an error in this hint. Using Option key doesn't force to import a duplicate file. iTunes Help explains that. Using Option key while drag and drop has another action.

In the Prefs (Advanced, General), you can choose if a dragged song is copied in iTunes Music folder or not. When you drag with the Option key, what is choosen in these prefs is inverted.

So, if you usually copy, the song will not be copied. And if you don't copy, it will be copied.

In my prefs, the "copy" box is checked.

So I have a song in iTunes Music folder. If I drag a copy of this song on iTunes' window with Option key, I get twice the same title, but there is no duplicate. One is the song stored in iTunes Music. And the other is the reference to a file which is stored elsewhere.

If I drag the song without Option key, iTunes does nothing. Normal, iTunes still prevents duplicate files.
